The AI Acceptable Use Policy covers responsible use of the AI specifically; this one covers everything else. Both are part of the Terms of Service.
- I
The short version
Use the platform on documents you’re authorized to handle, for the work it’s built for, within your agreement. Don’t attack it, abuse it, or use it to harm others.
- II
Don’t
- Compromise security or integrity. No probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the service except under our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy. No defeating the PII boundary, breaking tenant isolation, or accessing data that isn’t yours. No introducing malware, no denial-of-service, no interfering with anyone else’s use.
- Misuse access. No sharing credentials, exceeding your licensed seats, or reselling access without a written agreement. No reverse-engineering, decompiling, scraping, or copying the service or its outputs to build a competing product.
- Submit data you shouldn’t. No documents or personal data you lack the right to process. No content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you’re contractually barred from sharing. No special-category personal data beyond what a coverage review genuinely needs.
- Use it for harm. No unlawful, discriminatory, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose. No use that violates insurance, privacy, or export-control law.
- Overload it. No automated use that exceeds reasonable volumes for your plan, and no circumventing rate limits or technical controls.
- III
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, our customers, or third parties — with notice where we reasonably can give it. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the appropriate authorities. Suspension under this policy is not an availability shortfall under the SLA.
